Since Anita installed a 5kW solar system to her home, she has generated a credit of $375.00 for the year.  With the total system costing $6,500, she will see a return on investment of 4.6 years.  This system has a 12 year warranty, so any defects in the product or installation will be covered well after the system has paid for itself.

If Anita’s family decide to consume more electricity, her system will still cover her electricity needs for an additional 5,630 KWh that would have been exported.
